Access for wheelchairs and electric scooters
Wheelchairs and electric scooters are available for visitors to use between April and October. The wheelchairs give access to the Priory Church and Ruins, Strid Wood, the Strid, the Cumberland Trail, riverside and part of the Green ManTrail. Visitors using this facility are asked for a small donation towards the maintenance of the wheelchairs.
The vehicles are very popular therefore, to avoid disappointment we recommend you reserve one or on arrival ask at the car park kiosk.
Please note that the electric scooters are not permitted to go out in wet weather conditions.
Wheelchairs are available for booking at 10:00am, 12:00pm and 2:00pm only.
