Access for wheelchairs and electric scooters

Wheelchairs and electric scooters are available from the Village or Cavendish Shops for visitors to use between April and October.

For access to the Priory Church, Ruins and Stepping Stones please contact the Village Shop 01756 710331.

For access to the Strid, Strid Wood and Sandholme riverside contact the Cavendish Shop 01756 710663.

The vehicles are very popular therefore, to avoid disappointment we recommend you reserve one. They are available for booking at 10:00am, 12:00pm and 2:00pm only.

Visitors using this facility are asked for a small donation towards the maintenance of the wheelchairs.

Please note that the electric scooters are not permitted to go out in wet weather conditions.
