Macmillan Cancer Supprot
 

The World's Biggest
Coffee Morning.

Friday 24th September
10am-12.30pm
Bolton Abbey Village Hall

It is nearly that time again for our annual World’s Biggest Coffee morning event in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. There will be home-made cakes on sale, tombola and a raffle with an array of prizes.

Men's Cake Challenge!

This year we have a new competition; the Men’s Cake Challenge. A challenge for all the men out there who want to prove they can bake a cake! Please bring your cakes to the Village Hall to be judged at 11am with a £2 entry fee.

 
 


Kite Festival

Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd October
10am - 4pm

For the third year running Bolton Abbey is hosting its annual Kite Festival.

Come along to see professional kite fliers with their large display kites.

Enjoy flying your own kite or why not make one at our kite workshops held between 10am - 12pm and 2pm - 4pm. 

The Kite Festival is free of charge.
Normal estate admission applies.

A PLACE TO GO . . .

As Autumn leaves fall Bolton Abbey is the place to go. Bring your little ones to enjoy some free* Halloween activities this half term.

 

PUMPKINS ON SHOW . . .

Discover a ‘spooktacular’ display of pumpkin lanterns hidden around the 12th Century Priory Ruins. Can your little ones find them all?  

 

A WALK TO TAKE . . .

Wrap up warm, to follow the Pumpkin Trail for children to follow. The hunt for pumpkins starts from the Cavendish Pavilion and follows the riverside through Strid Wood.

 

SOMETHING TO MAKE . . .

Once the children have completed the hunt for pumpkins, come back to the Cavendish Pavilion to join lots of other children making pumpkin lanterns.

Don’t miss out on the Halloween half term treats in the Cavendish Pavilion.
