This is an exciting time for the Cavendish and Village shops as they are now under the management of Bolton Abbey.
Michael Willshire has just joined Bolton Abbey and is already overseeing the transition.
New lines will be arriving shortly so do drop in.

Macmillan Coffee Morning
Friday 30th September
From 10am-12.30pm coffee and cakes will be served in Bolton Abbey Village Hall to help raise money for Macmillan Cancer.
Tombola, cake stall, raffle and the like will all be available so do come along to support this worthy cause....every mug counts!!

Kite Festival
Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd October
Once again kites of all shapes and sizes will be taking to the air throughout the first weekend in October.
Why not come along to watch the fabulous impressive kite displays and enjoy this family day out with the side entertainment.
For those who do not have a kite to fly alongside the professionals, have a go at making your very own at the workshop.

Pumpkin Trail
Saturday 22nd to Sunday 30th October
10am - 4pm
Don't miss the pumpkin trail this October half term. Watch out for low flying witches as you wander through the enchanted Strid Wood to find all the hidden pumpkins!
Collect a free trail form at Sandholme kiosk, Cavendish Shop or Dusty Bluebells on arrival. The walk is accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs. Dogs are welcome on a lead.

After you finish the pumpkin trail come to the Cavendish Pavilion and make your own pumpkin lantern to take home ready for Halloween.

Devonshire Food Festival
14th - 18th November 2011
The Burlington at The Devonshire Arms is Yorkshire’s most highly rated restaurant, with a Michelin star and 4 AA Rosettes.
This winter, it plays host to the first ever ‘Devonshire Food Festival’ from 14th – 18th November 2011:
